Student Visa and Permits

International students must hold a valid student visa before commencing the programme they are currently enrolled in at UP International College NZ.

This is the law in New Zealand. A valid visa means a student has an electronic visa with details that match the Offer of Place.

Students must renew their visas before the expiry date. Students who complete their booked programmes have a valid visa until the date indicated on the visa label.

Please ensure that the visa is up to date, and that the course student is taking, and the campus name is clearly and accurately stated on the visa. If there are any questions or a student needs to renew their visa please contact International Student Support studentsupport@up.education

If a student needs to leave the programme for a period of time that is longer than 10 school days, they need to seek approval from the Head of College as Immigration NZ will need to be informed.
