All information collected by UP International College NZ during a student’s enrolment and subsequent time at UPICNZ shall be governed by the principles of the Privacy Act 2020.
The Privacy Act provides that businesses should make individuals aware that their personal information is being collected, the purpose it is being collected for and who is holding it. It also provides individuals with the right to access and correct personal information the business holds.
Personal information held by the Campus may not be passed to another individual (by electronic or hardcopy means) or seen by anyone (e.g. by computer screen or hardcopy) unless specific permission is given by the individual on whom the information is stored, or in the Privacy Officer’s view there are acceptable grounds within the law for doing so.
