Degree progression requirements for The University of Auckland (2024)

Minimum academic and English language requirements for guaranteed entrance into undergraduate study from the University of Auckland Certificate in Foundation Studies (Accelerated). Effective for students applying for entry to the University of Auckland in 2024.

To be awarded the University of Auckland Certificate in Foundation Studies, students must pass a minimum of four academic subjects and achieve 65% (B- grade) in EAP or 50% in EAP with a valid IELTS overall score of 6.0 and no bands below 5.5.

Entry to a University of Auckland Bachelor’s degree requires completion of the University of Auckland Certificate in Foundation Studies and the required minimum GPA and EAP score as listed below.
